Harry Wins Photo of the Month – High Speed Twin Fan Showcase

Well done to our operative Harry for winning Photo of the Month for February. His submission shows our high-speed twin fan suction excavator in action on a local water project for a valued customer.

What are high speed twin fan suction excavators?

‘Twin fan’ refers to the presence of two high powered fans that create the suction power. Their ‘medium’ size makes them flexible and adaptable for vacuum excavation on worksites with restricted or larger spaces.

What features do they have?

• Remote Drive: Increased suction excavation productivity through continuous operation (ideal for trench and French drains)
• Left hand tip option: Ideal for vacuum excavation work on highways projects, under single or partial road closure
• Height and Slew restrictors: Ideal for working in safety critical areas such as overhead lines, lane closures and structural height limitations.
• High pressure water: Assists the suction excavator to break down tough ground conditions, slightly more effective in clay conditions
• High pressure air: Assists the suction excavator to break down tough ground conditions, more effective in granular conditions.
