Dawlish Floods 2014

This latest forecast has given a rise in fears of flooding in areas hit by last year's winter storms such as the Dawlish floods were the storms hit the seafront and left the rail line with severe damage that took weeks to get back into working order.

Our services helped with the aftermath of destruction when we assisted with the clean-up operation, mainly removing debris and ballast with our 32 suction excavator.

With this advance weather warning in place, our RN-1 (Remote Nozzle) is available for hire to clean and clear culverts to help aid flood water drain away quickly in the event of the storms hitting the UK, to ensure all systems are working to their full potential avoiding as much flooding to residential area’s and their surroundings.

Although this will not perform a miracle and completely prevent flooding, it will give the opportunity to have more water drain away - even a small blockage will only inhibit the water flow and cause flood water to rise causing more devastation, insurance costs and so many ruined homes and communities.

We always strive to provide solutions and if our service can provide a solution near you, we would love to hear from you
