The Met Office has warned that Britain could be facing the wettest winter for 33 years
Britain could be facing the wettest winters ever warns the met office amid claims conditions are right for serious powerful Atlantic storms.
The Met Office three-month outlook suggests more wet weather is to come with weather fronts coming from the Atlantic that will bring stormy conditions to the UK, however temperatures will remain mild but get colder in January.

This latest forecast has given a rise in fears of flooding in areas hit by last year's winter storms such as the Dawlish floods were the storms hit the seafront and left the rail line with severe damage that took weeks to get back into working order.
